Welcome to the result of my positivity practice, where I spend 10 minutes per day thinking about what I’m enjoying, and finding value in.
A Song:
This song feels good for a late winter Friday. I hope you like it.
A Picture:
This is a picture of Lone Peak, also known as Big Sky Ski Resort. It’s an amazing mountain that I was lucky to be able to fly by at sunrise with a good friend (thanks, Shane).
Some Inspiration:
Learn about attachment style in your relationships. I read this book only a few years ago, and wish I’d read it when I first started dating. In fact this should be required reading for high-school health class. In it, the author lays out the case for three styles of attachment that can be experienced in a relationship - secure, anxious, and avoidant. It was pretty revelatory at the time and immediately clarified why a lot of past relationships felt hard, or didn’t work at all. I strongly encourage everyone to read it, along with the 5 Love Languages, which I’ve previously mentioned on here. They’ll make your relationships better (just in time for Valentine’s Day).

DoNotPay. This is a fantastic service that lets you use AI and pre-built forms to accomplish a wide array of tasks that are otherwise hard or expensive. For example, fighting a parking ticket, appealing a decision, converting a file, or cancelling a subscription. It’s super handy, but the breadth of the capabilities can be overwhelming.
