Welcome to the result of my positivity practice, where I spend 10 minutes per day thinking about what I’m enjoying, and finding value in.
A Song:
I’m a big fan of temperance, and believe that cooler heads usually prevail. That said, I think this song nicely embodies a lot of the frustration from younger generations. It’s also very catchy.
A Picture:
These are the ruins of a home in Wupatki National Monument in Arizona. There’s also an ancient ball court, and some other structures. It’s a phenomenally dry site with the nearest surface water several miles away over rough terrain. Sites like this are a great reminder of how absurdly easy modern life is. Be grateful!
Some Inspiration:
This MS Visio alternative. You know how sometimes you need the capabilities of Microsoft Visio, but it doesn’t come with any of the standard productivity packages. Diagrams.net is an amazing (maybe even better than Visio) alternative, and it’s free. Deep gratitude to the creators of this one.

A contrarian view on Bitcoin. I’ll start by saying that I don’t agree with a lot of what’s in this whitepaper. That said, it’s great to have a well-researched, contrarian (to me) point of view on the subject. Though there are some obvious challenges to Bitcoin, I also think that it’s likely reached a tipping point which will make it the world’s next store of value. In case you’re not familiar with the author, Nassim Taleb, I also recommend his books. This is worth the read - it’s dense, but not very long.
